EarCalm® Spray is an over-the-counter treatment which helps to clear and providing provide calming relief from minor outer ear infections.
Formulated with the antibacterial agent acetic acid 2% w/v, it can be used to treat the infection and symptoms as soon as they appear.
Key product features
Active ingredient: Acetic Acid 2% w/v – Acetic acid possesses antibacterial activity. It is reported to be active against: Haemophilus and Pseudomonas species, Candida and Trichomonas.
Target indication: Minor infections of the outer ear (such as swimmer’s ear).
Mode of action: Creates an acidic environment in the external auditory canal, unfavourable for the growth of microorganisms.
Application: Metered-dose spray for direct, hygienic, and convenient application to the affected area.
Age suitability: Adults, children, aged 12 years and above, and the elderly.
